1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.
There was no reason I just the first two clips on the list which were;
Abstract Expressionism and Pop: Art of the '50s and '60s , The Power of Art: Rothko
2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.
The first video clip discuss Franz Kline’s work from (1958), and where is work can be shown from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. The video also show how creative the artwork back in the 50 and 60s
The second video clip discuss a special artist and his work.
2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?
The video gave more in depth than the reading with the discussing of the artwork.
3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts? The video shows work and better examples to help the understanding of the artist style.
