Project #2


A.) Which artworks make an impact or impression on me? Why?
B.) Which artworks do I feel a connection with? Why?
C.) Which artworks would I like to know more about? Why?
You should list at least two different artworks for each question. (Total of 6 artworks)

A. There really was not any one artwork that had a bigger impact or impression on me. I felt they were all so creative on bringing their message threw the art. 
B. Like I answered before in question A I did not have a greater connection with a painting I just enjoyed the creativity. 
C. One art work I would like to know more about is a piece of artwork that shows a face. I want to know what the face represent and the meaning behind it.

Module 5


1. Discuss what you thought about creating your logo.
So far this was the most creative art work Ive done so far i loved it

2. Describe the process: creative thinking skills and ideas you used in the logo creation.
When I started the logo I was stumped at what I could use describe myself. I used a octopus with 8 arms each arm describe the things that i have to deal with at the moment such as a baby bottle, diaper i used these things because i am a expecting mother. I also used books to describe how i am in school at the time and different stuff to show that I also have a house to take care of.
3. What was the most important discovery you made in the creation of your logo?
I discovered that Its ways i can be creative and so creativity. 

4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos, powerpoint, and reading material  for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
Each picture means something in a logo and you have to get really creative when making one.

1. The activity was fun it was good doing hands on.
2. I like creating the black and white scale because it was last messy then the paint.
3. The most important discovery in creating these pieces of work i would say is the way the colors come together and create more colors and the way black can be stretch to make a scale of colors.
 4. The video on creating the scale of colors using three primary colors help me out a lot before watching it and just reading the direction was confusing the video help me understand the work. It was a very good video.

 Putting together my slide show was not difficult once I understood what each Elements and Principles were. I created my Photo bucket with the help of Angel. I have never used Photobucket before but it wasn"t hard. the photos I used were ones that was around the area i live in, them seemed to be easy and more understanding pictures for me to explain each Principle and Element.

Module 3

Questions

1. Colors can effect ones feelings and emotions, colors such as green and red have a strong meaning towards a person’s emotion or feeling. Simultaneous contrast  give off the intensity of the colors to show the effect.
2. I feel as if I only sees the surface of it, feel the colors. I only see color.
3. The artist can tell so much well viewing the building. Color is so important to the artist in creating, colors effect each other. The artist use color to bring feeling to the artwork.

4. The one thing that stood out to me in this video was the way color and arts effect on religion. Mainly because I grew up in a religious house I never knew the impact that the effect have on religion. The colors represent other things than colors.

MODULE TWO

1.   
          1.  In one of the video “ Neurobiology Neurology and Art and Aesthetics” a speaker  explains how the human brain and how process and relate to art. And also the evolutionary origins of art and aesthetics , the sexual selection, group selection ,intersubjective communication  and social bonding and byproduct of brain evolution. And the other video “Aesthetics: Philosophy of the Arts” talks about how modern art has changed. The theory of two philosopher’s theory on aesthetics. The article also talks about the way the brain sees art.

2. I choose Plato Theory on anesthetic. This was during the 4th century of B.C. He believe that the artwork we see is the artist idea. The artist have to first have an idea and second create their idea into artwork.

3. What do you think about Changeux and Ramachandran scientific view of aesthetics and art? What was the most interesting fact you discovered from each speakers lecture?
I choose Plato Theory on anesthetic. This was during the 4th century of B.C. He believe that the artwork we see is the artist idea. The artist have to first have an idea and second create their idea into artwork.

4. Both the video and reading talks about the same anesthetics of art. There is a description on the history of art. Each explains how art is creativity there is no right or wrong way to show ones person creativity.


5.  My opinion on the article and film is that it helps support and explain the textbook reading. Gives good examples on explaining anesthetic in artwork. The material concludes the reading.
